The Hudson Valley Community College Foundation presented approximately 80 scholarships to 67 recipients during its annual Scholarship Reception held Friday afternoon in the McDonough Sports Complex. The awards totaled more than $100,000.
The Foundation would like to share the inspirational words of Dan Aunkst, an alumnus and scholarship donor. Mr. Aunkst and his family established the Elizabeth M. DeFeo Memorial Scholarship.
